Hi

My customer has a question about TPS22965-Q1.
Could you tell me about question?

 Is there any sequence requirement between VIN, Vbias and ON at TPS22965-Q1 startup and shutdown?
 My customer is thinking it.

  Startup: Vbias -> ON -> VIN

 Because when startup, my customer want turn-on to faster.
 And if there is some important notice of sequence, my customer want to know.

    Hi Tateo,

     

    There is no requirement for sequencing of VIN, Vbias, and ON.  The switch will turn on when VIN and Vbias voltage are valid and ON is above VIH,max.

    If Vbias and ON are applied long before VIN, then VOUT will track VIN as it ramps up.  While this will reduce system turn on delay, there will be no inrush current control.

    For the fastest turn on time, leave the CT capacitor open (CT = 0pF).
