The data sheet says that the unused pin 2 should be connected to VCC. The EVM schematic shows pin 2 left open. Which is the recommended implementation?

Hi Keith. Nobody answered this. I've assumed that this is a true no-connect inside of the package and that they say "should be connected to VCC" just to avoid a floating pin. It would be nice to have someone verify this is the case.

That's correct. It should be connected to VCC.
