LM3642 Mode Bits Reset

Hi

We are using LM3642 as a flash LED driver in conjunction with Omnivision OV5645 in flash mode.

As explained in the datasheet, the mode bits are reset once flash time-out period expires.

We don't want to reset mode bits each time the LED is flashed.

For this we tried to set the flash time-out to 800ms and drive strobe signal for 100ms so that the time-out does not expire and the bits are not reset.

But this is not happening, the mode bits are still getting reset.

Please correct if there is some understanding issue.
