65930 audio out capabilities

Can the TPS65930 output audio at the class d predrivers while at the same time driving a headphone with the car kit outputs to 1/2W? Can they do this with independent input sources or do they need to be the same input source? My customer has been waiting 2 weeks for this answer and this is my second post. Please advise as the datasheet was not clear on this topic.

    Hi Mark,

     

    yes TPS65930 audio codec can drive both classD predrivers and carkit outputs at the same time.

    It can be driven by the same input source or by 2 different input sources (if using I2S as TDM).

    Everything can be configured by register settings (I2S configuration, output amplifiers configuration through PRED<X>_CTL nd PRECK<X>_CTL registers...)
