BQ27425-G2A / Condition to clear RUP_DIS bit

HI All,

I confirmed that the RUP_DIS is set when the the  battery voltage down to less than Terminate Voltage. Then please let me know to clear RUP_DIS bit. I coulld clear it when the battery charged to reach Taper Current, but I'd like to know the other condition to clear it.

    Hello Sonoki-san,

    The way to clear the [RUP_DIS] bit with the bq27425-G2x (and all bq274xx devices actually) is to let the battery relax so that the gauge can take a qualified OCV measurement.  The gauge is looking for dV/dt condition of dV/dt < 1 uV/s, once this is met the gauge will clear the [RUP_DIS] bit.

    With flash-based gauges (all gauges except bq274xx ) and multi-cell gauges, the [RUP_DIS] bit can be cleared by sending the IT_ENABLE Control() Subcommand and also reaching the dV/dt condition for relaxation.  Note that for multi-cell gauges, the relaxation condition is dV/dt < 4 uV/s typically.
