Fuel Gauge bq20Z655 Chemistry File.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ20Z655-R1, BQEVSW

We are using a bq20z655 fuel gauge to support  Panasonic cells NCR1865F with a capacity of 2900 mAh. Using bqEasy Evaluation Software I first loaded Chemistry file 238 which returned an error message Unsupported Device Contact Battery Management Applications for assistance. Next I loaded file 281 which also supports this cell but I received the same error message. What should we try next?

Thank You

There is an issue with this particular installer. If you send me your e-mail address in a private message I can have a link sent to you to download the necessary files to make it work.

  • Arking,

Try downloading the installer from the link and see if that helps. Also, the chem ID may have still updated, despite the error screen.
