TPS40305/Boot resistor

Hi,

Customer is trying to use the TPS40305.
Customer is considering Boot resistor to suppress ringing of the FET.
However,TPS40305 is broken by using the resistor of 15Ω.
Could you tell me if there is a reference constant of Boot resistor.
I attach a circuit diagram under consideration.
