LMR12010 floating EN

Hi,


during test of a simple design i've made, i've figured out that EN pin has been floating for a while.

In the datasheet is written to not allow this pin to float but can it cause real problems? For example, can it kill the ic?

    Hi Marco - To guarantee ON or OFF operation over all conditions you need to control the EN pin. If you want always ON, just connect a pull-up resistor from EN pin to VIN. The IC will not get damaged unless the applied voltage on EN pin exceeds VIN + 0.3V.
