TPS61030 can support Vin=1.8V, Vout=3.3V/1.5A application ?

TPS61030 can't support 3.3V/1.5A from VIN=1.8. it can only support 1.25A calculated from the current limit and efficiency.

But TPS61031 can support up 1.5A(Vin=1.8V) right from the datasheet page 6(Figure1)?

the data in Figure 1 just shows the typical operating condition of this device. it don't include the current limit variation in different device. the typical peak current limit is 4A, but the minimum value is 3.6A. please refer the "electrical characteristics" in datasheet page 5 for the values. so the output current capability we can guarantee for mass production is lower than the value in the Figure 1.

may i know why you need 1.5A output? is it constant current or pulse current?

It's a thermal control module, must control Relay ON/OFF, the constant current only 300mA~600mA, but pick current may up to 1.5A. And power source have 2xAA Alakline battery.

if the 1.5A peak current period is short, you could add large output capacitor to support this period.
