Hello everyone,
I am using bq2954 battery charging IC. Battery pack specifications are as below :
4 series and 3 parallel
single cell nominal voltage 3.7v.
I am using LED1 & LED2 pins of ICs for two purpose at a time
1) Connected leds to these pins and cathode of leds coupled together which is connected to Lcom.
2) These LED1 & LED2 pins are also connected to FPGA input pin.
The problem i am facing is without giving power to FPGA I cannot charge my battery pack (i.e. just by powering bq2954 IC). LED1 starts flashing.
This same works fine i.e. charging is done properly when FPGA is powered ON
Can anyone help to understand this behavior of BQ2954 pins?
