Single Cell Lithium Ion Battery Charger

Hi,

                We are looking for a Low Cost Lithium Ion Battery Charger having below specs:

 

1)      Input source: 5V, 1W Solar panel (max. charge current = 200mA)

2)      Output over voltage protection : 4.2V

3)      Battery: Single cell

 

Plz suggest.

    Atul,

    Please look at the bq24650. This charger is designed specifically for solar panels as a input source. The MPPSET pin allows for monitoring of the solar panel voltage to ensure that it doesn't crash under heavy load.

    For low currents such as your application. the bq24210 might be a better fit. The bq24210 VDPM pin allows for monitoring of the solar panel voltage to ensure that it doesn't crash when the power limit of the solar panel has been reached.
