LM350 regulators in parallel?

Hello,


It's unclear to me from the datasheet if this is valid or not.  Is it possible to connect more than one LM350 regulator in parallel (to reduce the load on each) when each is configured as a current limiter (similar to Figure 32) and configured for the same current limit?

    If all parallel regulators are operating at the regulation set-point where Iout= Vref/R1, then yes.

    For situations where the total current demand is less than the sum of the set-points, that's outside the datasheet specifications. My guess would be that turn-on will probably be sequental, not evenly balanced, based on subtle variations in 'Vin-Vout' and 'Tj'.
