Step Down Converter with forced PWM mode and small package

Hi All,

Our customer is looking for step down converter with forced PWM mode. I know that such device has MODE pin but it's difficult to find it because we can't sort it at product lineup in TI.com. Please introduce your recommended devices for following requirement.

Vin = 3V
Vout = 1.2V
Iout = 600mA (Device spec)
Other : Forced PWM mode, small package
Application : Noise sensitive portable application

Devices with a MODE pin include: TPS62260, TPS62510, TPS62232 (500 mA), TPS82674/5/7, TPS62650, etc. What is the end equipment?

As well, many modern systems no longer need forced PWM mode to have acceptable ripple and noise performance.

LM5160 is a 65V, 1.5A step down regulator with forced PWM or DCM select pin. It has a 2V reference so will not work with 1.2VOUT.

LM5017 is a 100V, 600mA step down regulator with forced PWM mode. It has a 1.225 V internal reference which is close to what you need.

Thank you for your comments. But the target application is battery powered portable device, so these devices is too much spec....
