LM25011: Shutdown Problem

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM25011

Hi All,

The LM25011 is having trouble when shutting down. The supply drops down from 24V to 6V. The 6V point is where the LM25011 starts switching off. This is as per specs. Now when it has shut down completely, the input voltage remains at 5.4V for some time. The LM25011 tries to start again for few times before it stops attempting this.

I think this is a serious trouble and I am at a big loss here.

Same behavior is seen for EVAL board.

Output Voltage: 5.2V

Input Voltage: 24V

Screen shot of shutdown waveform is attached below

Yellow is the 5.2V output and blue is the input waveform to LM25011.

I think there is an issue with regard to the UVLO circuit internal to LM25011.

TI folks,  Please help me to sort this out ASAP.

Regards,

Shantanu.
