LM3409 / protection function.

Hi all.

I would like to know about the protection function in the following cases.
Please check this schematic.

Does this device have the protection function(short protection) in these cases?

And at that time, does  the constant current  control fluctuate in this circuit?

    Sho:
    There is on protection on current sense resistor short ( case 1 ). When the current sense pins are short, the current will go high. When the LED string is short ( case 2 ), the current may still be in regulation if the required on time is larger than the minimum on time which is 115nS typical. If the required on time is less than the minimum on time, the current will be higher than the regulated current.
