I have the gerber files for the BQ25504. I was wondering if it would be possible to get the actual PCB layout design files. I would be really grateful if anyone can help with this. Thanks a lot.

I just wanted to add that using the Gerber files, the ground plane looks like it is made of a lot of individual lines instead of solid copper area and the PCB manufacturer said it might not be good for fabrication and later on for application. I would really appreciate if you could please give me the PCB layout files. Thanks.

We do not recommend using the BQ25504EVM layout which is out of date. I recommend you look at the datasheet page 26 for pcb layout example.

Unfortunately, we do not have a newer version of the layout for bq25504EVM.

Hi Jing,

Based on the solar application circuit, I have finished the design and layout. I was wondering if it would be possible to get some comments on the layout. Thanks.

R1+R10 = ROC1, R2 = ROC2, R3 =ROV1, R4=ROV2, R5=RUV1, R6=RUV2, R7=ROK1, R9=ROK2, R8=ROK3, C6=CREF. rest are the output and input capacitors.

The layout looks good. I would recommend to move C1, C2 closer to the IC.
