Hello every one 

what are the calculations to be perfomed while selecting an LDO FOR An Application  

with following known parametrs (requirements)

VIN 

VOUT

IOUT

    Agxin,

    The most useful formula calculates the power dissipated. This is the heat that must be removed from the LDO.
    P = (VIN -VOUT) * IOUT
    To be more accurate also add VIN * IQ

    It is easiest to let "Webench designer" make a circuit for you.

    Look for this box on the ti.com main web page.

    Fill in numbers and click start design.
