Yes, you sure can. I would advise first reading the datasheet and following its recommendations for external components and PCB layout.

I have read the datasheet.

The components i have chosen aren't the suggested components but similar

Yes, that looks fine.

Just note that you need to actively drive SLEEP high to get out of sleep mode and deliver higher output currents. As well, depending on where this is located in your system, you may need additional Cin to be able to accept hot-plug or other line transients.
