want to design Load Sense Circuit

Hey I want to design a load sensing circuit for my application. Application is Related to control AC switching.

Blocks i'm using in my application is..

MCU+MOC Ic+Triac+Load+ AC supply.

All I want to implement is Whenever I connect the load to the circuit My triac start switching otherwise it remains off.

please suggest me some way to implement it.

Hi Abhishek,

Would you be able to provide more detail into your application? Voltage levels or load currents would be helpful, as well as any information regarding the load and how it is applied.

Hi Alek Kaknevicius,

I'm connecting a external socket b/w traic terminal to externally connect the device. The voltage applied to device is 230V/50Hz and connecting load is of Power 1800 Watt max.

I just want to make the Socket little smart that when I plug device into it, It start and when I remove the device it Auto cut the power. I don't want my socket always on when it is not used.

Hi Abhishek,

Thank you for the additional information. Unfortunately, none of our load switches can handle loads with that high amount of power or voltage. I am going to go ahead and move this thread into the AC/DC Power forum.
