hi all,

i'm designing a full bridge topology where the input voltage is 400V and an output voltage of 30V. i have some question about mosfet drivers:

1- is there any driver which can control the dead time and drive 4 outputs ( an output for each N-channel)?

2- what is the best to use: tow drivers ( one for each tow mosfet), or one single driver for the 4 mosfets?

3- do we have interest in controlling dead time since not all driver have this feature!!

Hi,

You can go to the web page :

and obtain a list of TI drivers with the dead time control feature.

As of now the list is limited to single and dual drivers.

Hi John,
Thankw for replaying, in fact there is only tow dual drivers in the website you suggested to me:

1- www.ti.com/.../lm5106.pdf : this driver can drive a half bridge with a maximum input rage of 100V.

2- www.ti.com/.../tps51604-q1.pdf : this one is worst , it can only convert a range of 4.5V to 28V.

As i said, my H-bridge input voltage is 400V wich is higher than the absolute maximum ratings of thes tow drivers.

Any idea please?

At the moment, 120V is the highest voltage rating part in the TI portfolio.
