For an application, I am looking to take a 12V output from a battery pack and boost it to a 19V/1.2A supply for a computer.
One product I'm looking at using as a quick and easy solution is the TPS65161EVM-194. A couple of questions though:
- the input power requirements say 5A as a minimum. Is there a maximum here?
- does this seem like a reasonable implementation? I know this is not its intended purpose..
- do you have information about size of this piece? Dimensional and/or CAD information?
