Hi,
In the datasheet for LM2735 all application are used series resistor 100K from Vin to the "EN" pin.

What is reason for this resistor. And how it impact on the performance of the application if I connect "EN" directly to the Vin?

    There are two restrictions on the EN input.  The absolute maximum voltage must be less than 7V.  And the voltage on this pin must never be greater than VIN+0.3V.  If the EN input is connected directly to VIN, then a resistor is required on this pin to limit the current when VIN exceeds the voltage limits.  It is recomended that this resistor always be used when the EN is tied to VIN.  If EN is supplied from a low voltage logic gate, then this resistor would not be needed.
