TPS55330 Vin 6.5V~8.4V Vout 8.5V,drop 4V at 3A load

I test TPS55330 EVM board Vin 6.5V~8.4V and Vout 8.5V, that cause drop 4V at 3A load.
The current maybe only keep 10ms.

Is it correct design?

Please advice.

The TPS55330 should be able to support 8.5V at 3A from a 6.5V input. Is the input supply becoming current limited? It would also be good to double check if the components on your board are correct.
