BYPASS CAPACITOR LIMIT

I am using LDO  LM78M05 METAL CAN package for generating 5 volts from 15 volts supply.

Is it safe to use 47 uF tantalum capacitor at the output of  LM78M05 as bypass?

This large capacitor is required to hold charge during power interruption in the circuit.
