At this moment I am using the BQ25570 for an Energy Harvesting application.
This is my test circuit.
The first thing I measured is with the V_STOR not connected with any power source.
I measured at the V_IN-GND and the V_STOR-GND.
This is our result. I expected a constant voltage but i did not get one. Is there any particular reason why it is not constant?
when i increase the voltage, the duty cylce increases, just like the Top and base voltage
Until it eventually is a DC Voltage (kind of)
I don't know why this happens.
The next weird phenomenon is when we connect a voltage source at the VSTOR.
We connect this voltage source to simulate a battery.
When i put the voltage source on 0V. I understand why it goes to 4.2V (because of the installed resistors). But as you can see in the screenshot of my scope that there are some peak voltages (going to 1.6V) why are these peaks there?
when i increase the voltage of my voltage source ,connected on the VSTOR, the lowest point of the peak also increases.
I suppose that the use of the peaks are to measure the voltage. But i'm not sure of it. can anyone confirm my theory?
