tried to test tps61032. used the schematic below. but as soon as i connect 3.5V input voltage, tps61032 burns out with sw pin shorts to gnd. connected a scope probe to the sw pin before it burns out. saw excessive ringing reaching up to 15 volts.
schematic is so straightforward, and before the test i re-checked every component and connection each time i build the circuit. but my rooting can be poor as i tried to assemble it on the stripboard.
where could be my fault ?
