Hello,

Could you please let me know transition output current of light load of  TLV62090, TPS62085?

The customer would like to use TLV62090 or TPS62085 on the following conditions.
Vin=5V, Vout=1.1V, Iout=0.29A, Vout accuracy within 2%.

Since the these devices accuracy will be 3.7%(max) at the eco-mode, I would like to know the transition point.

Best Regards,
Ryuji Asaka

  • Both D/S should explain that these are DCS-Control devices whose transition to PFM mode is at the DCM/CCM boundary load. The TPS62085 has only 2.1% accuracy in PFM mode.

    Depending on the application, I would recommend the TPS62090 with the 2.8 MHz frequency and 1 uH coil and 2x 22uF Cout or the TPS62360 family. A lower current device might be better if you don't need 3A.
