What is minimum input current limitation for TSP61232 for 5v/1.5A output load?

i have design from web bench for D.C/D.C BOOST CONVERTER using TPS61232DR IC....

Input voltage: 4 to 5v

Output Voltage: 5v

Output current: 1.5A

my question is how much minimum input current is required to get such high current Output?

my source is capable of delivering 1A so will it work?

the input current is at least VOUT*IOUT/(VIN*eff) = 5*1.5/(4*0.93) =2A. you should have a power source capable to output 2A.

what is the output current in you real application. the input current would be always higher than output current for a boost converter

Thank you Jasper Li...By refering some various portal...i come to know that input current must be greater than output current...actual we would like to use it for power bank applications...
