Help! JEITA with Li-polymer

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24250

Hello.

I am planing to use the bq24250 battery charger for a Li-polymer battery. I want to know if the JEITA standard is safe. I have doubts about this, because it seems everybody says that it is not safe to charge Li batteries at a higher than 45 celsius degrees. I need to be sure, because we are developing new devices that will be installed in vehicles and we need reliability and we want to extend battery life as long as possible.

Thank you in advance.
