bq24160 change charge current

hi, how is the process change of the charge current?.
I disabled the safety timer (Bit5 = 1, Bit4 = 1 of memory location 0x07), I changed the value of 0x05 memory location of 32h (default) to c4h (2[A] if i dont make any mistake), but the bq24160 dont keep the changes. ¿what did i wrong?.
