hello, somebody there can confirm  if the only way that the chip bq24160 charge the battery
with a charge current and voltage regulation  different to default value is reset watchdog for all time that take it the battery charge?

    The default charge voltage is 3.6V and 1000mA so if are you not periodic resetting the watchdog, the charger should charge the battery to 3.6V with 1000mA max charge current. To charge to 4.2v, you would need to enter host mode using I2C writes. Try the bq24166 or bq24167.
