We plan to use the bq34z100-g1 with a lead acid battery . We followed the 9.2.2.1 Step-By-Step Design procedure (Bq34z100-G1 datasheet) and run an optimization Cycle (9.2.2.1.8) as described in SLUA334B.
We run the "When no close Qmax value is known" and at point 5 the QEN was set, but the VOK was not set. What could be the reason this VOK bit is not set?
At point 7 the MaxError is still 100% (update status 4).
Main questions:
1) Why is the VOK bit not set?
2) Why is the MaxError still 100% after a run?
