BQ24600 draws current from the batteries after finishing charging

hi,

I'm testing the BQ24600EVM. When the BQ24600EVM stops charging it draws 20mA from the batteries. Is this normal because I can not find this in the data-sheet or the data-sheet of the BQ24600.

The only thing I changed are the resistors R14 and R15 for a different output Voltage

Can anyone help me figure this out.

Hi Thomas,

IQ should be ~15uA when VCC<SRN. What are your new values of R14/R15?

Hi Smriti,

The new values of R14 and R15 are 300 ohm and 100 ohm so that my out put voltage is 8.4V

I have found the problem and it was my fault for using smaller resistors for R14 and R15.
