Hi,

I am using BQ27421-G1A gas gauge chip. The default CHEM_ID stored on the gauge is 0x0128, but I need to update it to 0x0107. But I couldn't do it using Gauge Studio v 1.4.1 as its saying "the device is not updatable". Please see screenshot attached. I also have bqStudio installed on the system but its not even showing Chemistry update option for bq27421. (screenshot attached).

Can anyone tell me how to update the CHEM_ID by using either of these softwares or the syntax for I2C command to change the contents of CHEM_ID (0x08 Reg)?
