Hi,

Could you tell me about LM25066 protocol.
Is there a protocol table like TPS65400 data sheet page 36?
Please tell me the document of PMBus protcol table.

(PMBus Power System Management Protocol Specificaiton, Part II - Command Language, Revision, 1.2, 6 Sept. 2010.www.powerSIG.org).
Are three ICs same protocol?

Hi Yusuke,

Yes, it would follow the same protocol (PMBus) and thus those tables would apply to the LM25066 too.

As part of PMBus standard command set, the LM25066 and TPS65400 will share some similar commands such as OPERATION (01h) for ON/OFF and CAPABILITY (19h). The CAPABILITY command for the LM25066 would show that it supports PEC and 400kHz max clock speed.

If it is so,

Hi Yusuke,

Yes, PMBus is a standard protocol. Every PMBus devices follows the same protocol, but some may be PEC checking compatible or not. The LM25066 is PEC compatible.

Also, the LM25066 device was released in early 2010 and was based off the 2007 PMBus spec:
pmbus.org/.../OlderSpecifications

But it should be fine to use the 2010 document.
