Hello,
Is there a possibility of gas gauge for LiFePO4 batteries? Like bq20z65 for Li-Ion.
Thanks und regards

what is your cell stack configuration?
Hello,
I am looking for a battery gauge for a LiFePO4 battery pack of 28-24 V with a average discharge current of 3.5 A. We need to monitorize the state of charge of the battery pack. Is there any devide wich we can add to the battery to measure that? I hope you can help me. You are talking about devices wich measure single cells depending on the configuration. I am not sure about the configuration of our pack but if the cell of LiFePO4 is 3.6 V, we need 8 cells in series mode and I am not sure about how many in paralel mode.
thanks in advance
Consider the bq78PL114 (1) and bq76PL102 (2). This cobination will fuel gauge an 8 series cell battery. An important consideration is that these devices are rated down to 2.5V/cell.
Thanks. I have been studiying the information on the datasheet of bq78PL114 and I don't know if this device is capable of operate with a half charged battery and how does to store the information of the previous cycles. Can it give the state of charge taking in account the age of the battery? What curves is neccesary to program in the device? Thanks.
