SND9039 PMIC for Intel Atom E3805

Hello all,

Could you confirm if we can use the SND9039 PMIC for the Intel Atom E3805?

I know the SND9039 is compatible with the Cherry Trail devices but need to know if it can support the different specifications for the E3805.

Additionally, if the SND9039 can be use for the E3805, Do we have any reference material for it? Checklists, schematics or design notes to confirm proper functionality between both devices.

Intel only has the SND9039 on the reference design for Bay Trail CR processors. I cannot tell if this processor is a CR version of Bay Trail or something else like the T variant. If it is a CR variant then we can support it but if it is any other variant then we cannot. Can you confirm what variant of the processor it is?

As for reference material the Intel reference design should provide a good starting point.

The E3800 series products fall under the "I" category for IoTg (Internet of Things group), their embedded business unit. So E3805 is neither CR (cost-reduced) or type T (tablet). CR is a subset of the T.

Do we know if the SND9039 will be compatible with this family of processors?
