TPS65721 battery temperature setting

Hello all

In TPS65721 datasheet. The TS cold and TS HOT only have below setting 5/50 10/55 15/60.

But my project must discharge at TS cold<0 oC  TS HOT>60.

Please help to let me know how can set the SPEC.

Bit 4..3 TMP_SHIFT1..TMP_SHIFT0 (battery temperature shift):
00 = the temperature for TS_COLD and TS_HOT is at 0°C/45°C
01 = the temperature window is shifted by 5°C to TS_COLD/TS_HOT = 5°C/50°C
10 = the temperature window is shifted by 10°C to TS_COLD/TS_HOT = 10°C/55°C
11 = the temperature window is shifted by 15°C to TS_COLD/TS_HOT = 15°C/60°C

    Hi,


    What do you intend to discharge when the temps are below and above 0 and 60 C? Typically, you would not want to discharge the battery in these conditions but, rather stop charging or reduce charge current.

    On a side note, this device suspends charging at 45C range. You can move the range up or down depending on your liking but, increasing the range is difficult even though possible by changing the NTC and resistor network on the battery pack.
    In general, this device's the reduced charge temp range of 45C is safer than the larger 60 C range and the TPS65720/1 can support more type of battery packs because of this.

    Can you share with me what your application is so, I can better assist you?
