[ BQ24040 ] Thermistor Selection

Hi,

I'm a bit confused that even 10Kohm NTC with 3370 thermistor, there are several similar options to be considered as below. Can you please let me know the guide line and/or key point to select 3370 thermistor? In my list, there is a 10Kohm NTC thermstor with 3380 +/- 1%...not sure this can be use for BQ24040.

Different beta value will cause different resistance of NTC under a given temperature, which will cause a different TS voltage. The difference that is caused by 3380 beta value is negligible so it is ok to use your NTC.

Please refer to the below formula for NTC resistor calculation.

R(T)=R(25)*EXP{beta*[(1/T-1/T(25)]}
