Hello Team,

Which has better EMI performance, microSIP or external inductor device?

Could I have you send me the data of EMI performance for microSIP, if you have it?

Also TPS82085 has no spread spectrum architecture. Is my understanding correct?

Correct, the TPS82085 does not have spread spectrum. It uses DCS-Control, so there is no actual clock.

I have not heard many EMI issues reported on TPS62xxx or TPS82xxx devices.

Certainly it is possible to make poor EMI performance with an external inductor device by using an unshielded inductor and/or a poor layout. A full MicroSIP device has a good layout and good inductor.
