According to the datasheet bq27441-G1A has OTP NVM. How it can be programmed? As far as I understand programming the data memory only changes the RAM settings. How can I program the device at the manufacturing time once and for all?

Hello Michael,

It is programmed in RAM. Since the bq27441-G1 is a system side gas gauge, your MCU will need to keep track of the ITPOR bit. If that bit ever gets set, you will need to reprogram the RAM contents.

Thanks for the answer. So the reference in datasheet to OTP is a mistake?
