bqproduction error

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQPRODUCTION, BQSTUDIO

I have installed bqproduction rev.5. and made all connections with HPA495, REV.A EV2300 and BQ40Z50EVM.

Then I try to calibrate current I receive strange error.

Number Format Exception in VerifyCalValueTolerances : Failed
Serial Number : Station Name : Test Number : Test Return Code: Timestamp
0 : Station 1 : 18 : 99999: Number Format Exception in VerifyCalValueTolerances : 2015-06-08 19:41:01.5

Reference VTI value is -2000.

What is error 99999: Number Format Exception in VerifyCalValueTolerances ?

  • The number format exception is an error when calculating a Reference Gain range. The configuration screen has a catagory named Current with fields Reference CC Gain and % Error. This Reference CC Gain should be set to the Calibration Data Flash Parameter named Current/CC Gain. This parameter and all other cal parameter are on the first page of Data Memory when using bqStudio. The value of this parameter after calibration is near 1.0 mohms.

To narrow this down, select current calibration only. Enter 1.0 for Current Reference Gain and 80 in the % Error field . Click "Save Configuration" Then "Start Test". It should complete without error. The reference check after calibration will verify that the CC Gain parameter is within the value of 1.0 +- 80%
