Can you provide your exact application requirements, for example, number of LEDs and LED current?

I am working on several project that requires different type of LED driver.  The one that I am interested needs to drive four LED's in series.  I would like to be able to adjust the intensitiy and need minimum external component.

For 4 LEDs in series and low input voltage, the TPS61093 is a great choice.  Note that it is configured for PWM dimming, not analog dimming. 

Please also note my previous recommendation, the TPS6116x series, can have a separate power for the boost converter and the IC.  In other words, if you have a separate power rail in your system that is greater than 2.9V, you could use that to power the IC and then tie the input side of the boost inductor to the battery.
