bq27510 and bq25892 thermistor sharing

Hello team,

Can the bq27510 and the bq25892 share the thermistor? The bq25892 would be operating in stand-alone autonomous charging control with default register values. Since it's going to be operating in this mode, can we share the thermistor and use the on-board temperature sensor in the gauge and have the thermistor on the charger? If so, what considerations should be taken? I imagine battery insertion and detection could be affected as well as measuring charger or gauge temperature without interference.

    Yes it is possible to share a thermistor. See the snippet below from the TRM.

    If the on board temperature sensor need to be used then you will need to ties Bi/TOUT pin to Vss using a  10k  resistor. See snipet below from the technical reference manual:
