Hi Everyone,

Please let me ask about bq25892. Please contact me directly if you need to discuss off line. sonoki-s@clv.macnica.co.jp

  1. Can bq25892 enter ship mode by setting BATFET_DIS bit  at adapter plugged in?
  2. In the case of VBAT<VRECHG, the recharging is started automatically after exiting ship mode?
  3. In the case of VBAT>VRECHG, the recharging is not started and just turn on BATFET after exiting ship mode?

    1. The BATFET can be turned off while adapter is plug-in. However, I would strongly recommend to not do that. We have seen cases where the BATFET can be accidentally turn on when adapter is removed. This is due to the mechanical stabiliy while adapter is removed. It can cause VBUS glitch which wake up the BATFET.
    2. The BATFET can be enabled and re-charge will resume
    3. The BATFET can be enabled, but i think re-charge wil resume due to battery is not terminated.
