My customer has a question about TPS53318.

Please tell me the minimum values and maximum values for tss.

Do you have some data?

Data sheet shows only typical values.

I understand that it is not a guarantee value.

    Could you please reply Disty engineer's question of following.

     

    Rank-up will　be done this device in a "standard power device" in customer.

    When this device become rank-up with standard part, the volume would increase.

    The following reference data is necessary for it.

    I don't guarantee this data value.

    It's submitted as just reference data.

     

    Please carry on activity of Disty effectively.

    Customer still requests variations in soft start time of us perseveringly.
    I talked with a customer. And a customer is making a user's manual of TPS53318 at present.
    And a customer will indicate soft-start timing on the manual.
    So please confirm MIN value above-mentioned and MAX value in a designer and rerply.

    Even if much margin is included, MIN value you answer and MAX value are no problem.
    We don't guarantee MIN value above-mentioned and MAX value.

    So I'd answer as reference information.

    When this information doesn't become clear, a business has bad influence.
    Could you please answer immediately.

    There is some data, but it seems somewhat contradictory to me. I will have to try and get some clarification before I answer, and I will be OOO for the rest of the week, so it may be Monday or Tuesday before I know more.

    Here is the data, they are not guaranteed, just an estimate based on characterization over temperature:
    Min Typ Max
    0.753 0.905 1.094
    1.415 1.619 1.875
    2.627 2.952 2.841
    5.031 5.602 5.424

    You will notice that the typical values are offset a bit from the datasheet typical values. The characterization data are the time from EN to the end of SS. The datasheet typical are for SS time only.
