How to program BQ27411-G1?

I am attempting to program this IC, the app note (SLUA703) says you need gaugestudio(sluc424) which i cannot find

the webpage for the part links to bqstudio (SLUC525k) which i downloaded, when running bqstudio it detects the ev2300 and device 0421_1_09_80 which is not in the device type selection for bqstudio version i have. Is there another version? or does gauge studio actually exist? Am super confused here about what software I need to use as all links in the pdf seem to be broken and the software linked from www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware is not working for this ic.

Yes, Gauge Studio is needed for this device. I'm not sure why it was taken down from the bq27411 product folder, but I'll see what I can do to get it back on the web asap.

Any luck with being able to provide this? I was told thru another source that TI could provide a .bqz to make bqstudio compatible with this gauge.

I am having the same issue as Matt Palmer, I can't find GaugeStudio. Has there been any progress on making GaugeStudio available?

Hi Tom,

I just replied to your question on another thread, but will restate it here:

GaugeStudio is, unfortunately, completely unsupported and deprecated software as it's been replaced by bqSTUDIO. If you need copies of the GaugeStudio installers (I have 1.3.12 and 1.4.1 on my PC), please let me know and I can send them to you.

Is there any other method to program the bq27411 devices besides GaugeStudio? I imagine there must be since the IC is still active.

If you could send me the GaugeStudio installers that would be great. Can I give you my email offline?

I believe bqSTUDIO may have a .bqz configuration file for using the bq27411-G1A, but I think it's limited to the test version of bqSTUDIO.

That said, you may provide me with your email address and I can send you the GaugeStudio installers. (Personally, if GaugeStudio supports a device that bqSTUDIO also supports, I tend to use GaugeStudio instead as I find its interface more pleasant to use.)

This is still an open issue for our organization, The lack of support (via bqz file) for the BQ27411-G1 with the bqstudio and other officially supported tools is an issue.
