Hi,

how can the maximum carge and discharge current be limited in software.

For charger limitation I found some Information in technical reference manual page 57:

ILIMIT = Max Current Register / (RCHG x 2550)

with Rchg= 0.005ohm; Ilimit = 1A => Max Current Register = 12.75 = 13?

Do I have to change other parameters too?

And where can I limit the discharge current?

    You can set the charging regulation current on the Advanced Charging Algorithm screen. You can use the Over Current Discharge (OCD) parameters to set the discharge current limit. A fault will occur and the discharge FET will turn off.
