LM9061-Q1 as a FET driver

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM9061-Q1, LM9061

Hello Team,

I am currently using LM9061-Q1 to drive a MOSFET to monitor cut off voltage of the battery. The FET is 100A, controlled by a 3.3V logic signal. It switches once in a very long time, so no fast switching or transient reponse is important. Is there a better way to drive the FET?

  • The LM9061 works great for this application. It can drive high current fets. What is the cut off voltage required. I am assuming the cut off voltage decision is based on whatever drives the 3.3V logic signal. Tim Reyes has couple of designs in the works for the LM9061 so send him a note for more details.
