LM3481's sense voltage dispersion is 100mV - 190mV

Current limit sense voltage is 157-275mV

■Question

1)LM3481's current limit dispersion is 1.9 times?

ex)Vsense=100mV Current limit= 6A

  Vsense=190mV Current limit= 11.4A

2)Does this kind of thing really happen?

 Vsense=Vsc Situation.@157mV-190mV

ex)Vsense=157mV when Vsc=157mV

    You are correct regarding current sense threshold voltage.

    It is defined as 100-190mV over entire temperature range of -40 to 125degC with typical value of  160mV.

    As far as over current limit sense voltage is concerned this voltage will be in the range of  157 - 275mV over -40 to 125degC temperature range.

    The situation you are describing is hypothetical, since there is certain threshold difference (typ ~60mV) which will be maintained over temperature.

    If both thresholds have same type of temperature coefficients the potential for the scenario where Vsc=Vsense =157mV is very minimal (negligible).

    For example Vsc=157 corresponds the sense voltage at 125degC, and at that same temperature Vsense will be ~100mV. This means that threshold difference is maintained.
